KAHDEKSIKKO ANDROMEDA OSTETTU PORVOOSEEN - THE EIGHT METRE ANDROMEDA HAS BEEN BOUGHT INTO FINLAND

Max Nordlund (Wilenius båtvarv Ab) on ostanut Ruotsista kahdeksikko Andromedan. Vene on Arvid Laurinin suunnittelema ja veistetty 1949 juuri tällä samalla veistämöllä. Ruotsissa veneen purjenumero on ollut S-23. Vene on telakalla ja nostetaan piakkoin ylös. Nordlundin mukaan vene on hyvässä kunnossa eikä siinä ole välittömiä korjaustarpeita.

Hän kertoo tuntevansa veneen hyvin ja on purjehtinut vuosia sen miehistössä.

Max Nordlund (Wilenius boatyard Ab, Borgå) has bought the eightmetre Andromeda from Sweden. The yacht was designed by Arvid Laurin and constructed by the very same Wilenius boatyard in 1949. The sail number has been S-23 in Sweden The yacht is at the boatyard and willl be taken up as soon as possible. Nordlund says that Andromeda is in good condition, and there is no big needs to renovate her.

He has sailed onboard Andromeda for years as a crew member, and knows the boat well.
